About the event
The Global Cooling Network hosts an annual "Green" Halloween celebration. You can participate in our annual fundraiser or donate items for the silent auction. Our aim is to have everyone leave having learned some new ways of taking care of our planet--while having a great time!
Please join us at our next fundraising event.
This year Timgad Cafe and Innovate! are proud and delighted to sponsor and resume our annual Green Halloween celebration–after a 3 year COVID hiatus! Come network with friends, associates, and employees from other federal agencies and the private sector while enjoying a tasting of hand-picked tequilas, seasonal brews, coffees (of course), light hors d'oeuvres and spooky sweets. All while learning about and sharing tips for throwing fun and sustainable events, and supporting the Global Cooling Network, a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to preserving forested land in its natural, undeveloped state.
There is no charge for the event and absolutely no donations are required. There will be a donation box available if you would like to contribute.

Suggestions for celebrating a Green Halloween:
- Turn cardboard boxes into tombstones.
- Make a game of turning old clothes into costumes.
- Buy locally produced foods, candies and treats.
- Use (& decorate) a pillowcase to collect candy.
- Grow your own pumpkins for carving & eating!
- Reuse as much as you can from year to year.
